Welcome to an in-depth Jawbone 2 review. During this review I will be comparing the previous version of the Jawbone Headset by Aliph. We are on a quest to see if this smaller little gem can be better than it's stellar performing big brother Jawbone 1? Look - The new JawBone Headset is slender in size and available in black or gold tones. The new look encompasses a Diamond Weave pattern that is on the verge of being too feminine. Jawbone sets the standards on different but totally usable headsets or "earwear" as they like to call it. Buttons on the new jawbone are none existent, jawbone has an invisible button policy as with the previous Jawbone model this one also has two hidden control buttons. Touch surface technology allows user to operate switches by lightly pressing the out-side shield.

Construction - solid button less construction of the JawBone 2 . Built from medical grade plastics the new jawbone feels sturdy yet light weight. The new Jawbone 2 has buttons hidden within the outer diamond weave shell. The one on the back is called the noise assassin button this feature we will go through later in the review but I can tell you now it works very well. The USB charger attaches magnetically similar to what you would see with apple mac books. The included ear loops are nice if you like ear loops they are not needed but I recommend them because it will align the earpiece so it is aiming toward your mouth for optimal performance. The ear loops are metal inside and wrapped with either a rubber or bound leather. Similar to what you find on a leather wrapped steering wheel both are included in a couple of sizes to meet the requirements of most.
Fit - The new Jawbone 2 as a Great Fit, even for those with glasses. The first Jawbone was a pain to wear with glasses, especially when driving. The problem was the earpiece would force the jawbone to the side of your face. When you turned your head to look over your shoulder the jawbone would move away from your face. The new ear loop is so much better than the last. The very best thing about the new Jawbone is that you do not need to wear the ear loop you can go without. This was not possible on the previous version of the Jawbone by Aliph. The new earpiece in smaller so you will not interfere with your glasses if you where them. Very comfortable and non intrusive and has a great fit while driving. Performance - They do not call this the Noise Assassin for nothing. Your conversations can not be any clearer with any other Bluetooth headset. Jawbone uses advanced technology using your JAWBONE as a base for sound frequency, thus eliminating all other noises that are not your spoken voice.
