Lenovo X300 - The new Ultra Portable notebook that beats MacBook Air |
|
Lenovo ThinkPad x300 vs the MacBook Air, There has been a lot of media attention on the macbook air lately and for what reason the machine had no optical drives, integrated battery, and only one USB port?
An alternative you will find is the ThinkPad X300 this machine is an awesome light notebook with a ton of INCLUDED features for about the same weight and size. Lenovo has done right with this new machine its light, powerful and tiny all in one package.
Specs:
- Size: 318 x 231 x 18.6 ~ 23.4 mm
- Weight: 1.42 kg (base)
- Intel Core 2 Duo LV 64 Bit 800 MHz
- Up to 4GB of RAM DDR2 667 MHz
- WXGA + 13.3 “LED Backlight and resolution of 1440 x 900px
- Video Card Intel X3100
- Disk SSD of 64GB or 120GB SATA hard to 5400 RPM
- Ethernet 10/100/1000
- Bluetooth
- DVD R-RW
- WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n
- 3X USB 2.0 ports
- 1.3MP Built in Camera
- Built-in stereo speakers
- Battery (which can be changed easily) of 3 cells (approximately 3.3 hours) or 6 cells (approximately 4.9 hours)
Below you will find the comparison chart on the two. My vote is for the New ThinkPad it is awesome. I think Apple has personally dropped the ball on this one.
